Environment Pulp and Paper Company Limited (EPPCO)

Environment Pulp and Paper Company Limited (EPPCO) produce and sell chemical bleached bagasse pulp. The pulp mill is located in Tumbol NongPho, Amphur Takli, Nakhonsawan Province, approximately
200 kilometers north of Bangkok.

EPPCO has registered capitals 1,200 million Bahts; all are issued and fully paid-up. EPPCO are jointly owned by Thai Identity Sugar Group and King Wan Group from Singapore. Thai Identity Sugar Group is one of larges sugar producers in Thailand having three sugar mills in the Northern part of country. With total sugar production capacity of 800,000 metric tons per annum , it produces more than 12% of the total sugar production in Thailand. The group's annual group turn over is approximately 10,000 million Bahts. The group's largest single sugar factory namely “Kaset Thai Sugar” located near by EPPCO' pulp mill and is mainly supplied resource of bagasse.

Environment friendly

To produce eco-friendly product from eco-friendly raw material and eco-friendly production process

  • Preserving environment by not cutting trees and using bagasse as raw material to produce non-wood pulp
  • In comparison, 100,000 ADMT of bagasse pulp can replace 32 million numbers of tree which being cut and used as raw material of wood pulp
  • Cooking by Caustic Soda process instead of Kraft process gives less odor
  • ECF Bleaching Process by Chlorine Dioxide as main bleaching agent which is not harmful to environment compared to conventional bleaching process that cause of cancer
  • Electrostatic precipitator to reduce air emission
  • Waste water treatment system with methane gas generation system which give biogas for fuel
